HOW-TO: Remove a Role from a User

To remove roles from a user do the following. Alternately you can click the red, round icon to the left of the role you want to remove for a user.

  1. Click on the Users tab for your site
  2. Click on the checkbox next to the user you want to remove a role from
  3. Click on the dropdown titled 'Apply/Remove roles...'
  4. Under 'Remove Role' should be a list of the roles for your site. Select the appropriate role to remove.
  5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 as necessary to remove multiple roles from one user

Common Error: I don't see the dropdown titled 'Apply/Remove roles...' button or any checkboxes
A. You do not have permissions to apply or remove roles for the site. Please talk to your site admin if you feel you need that type of access.
