HOW-TO: Manage/Edit a Role

Remember that we recommend assigning actions from one module per role. Try not to assign actions from multiple modules to one role. A user can have many different roles. Please review the Example Implementation above to get an idea of how to name and set-up your roles.

  1. Click on the Roles tab for your site
  2. Click on the title of the role you want to edit
  3. An ActionBox should have popped up with a lot of different modules, actions and checkboxes. Turn on or off those actions you want assigned to this role.
  4. Click 'Save Changes' for each module that you've enabled or disabled actions for to make sure they take affect.
  5. Click 'Close' in the top-right of the ActionBox to close it and return to the Roles screen.
