permission problem and editor icons missing

Description

Kharivat Naryanan is having problems with his role in slate and the formatting icons are missing from his editor tool bar. He can mouse over the tool bar and click where the icon should be to select it. Chif stopped by K's office and confirmed that K is using Firefox. Also, he said he can't create child pages. When he looks at users in slate, he sees "none" as his role. I set him up as the Administrator of the Office of International Students and Scholars site.
